Cultural City

Kangasala is a well-known cultural city, whose beauty has inspired artists for centuries. Kangasala offers a variety of experiences for culture enthusiasts and those interested in history. We are particularly known as the capital of car museums, as we host both the national special museum for driving and road transportation and Finland’s most popular car exhibition. Kangasala has also been influenced by strong women, one of whom was briefly the queen in 16th century.

The Kangasala House features concerts, performances, art exhibitions, and movies in its program. During the summer, the offerings expand with summer galleries and high-quality performances by many amateur theaters.
